Waiting , waiting , waiting! We are waiting for the first tomatoes to turn red. I always find this time between the first flower and the first ripe tomato a long, long wait. It takes 8 weeks from blossom to tomato juice running down your chin. The first tomatoes blossomed mid January so we should see the first ones ripen in the next 2 weeks.
